Management here is awesome. Brittany and TJ are available for all needs and the maintenance crew is on top of every including lighting, hot water, heaters and public safety. My one and only wish is for Lotus 215 to finally get towed after I’ve approached him nicely about park in our lot. Other than the jerks at Lotus parking in our stalls (aka zero parking enforcement) you won’t find a better place to live!! Come be my neighbor!

This building is amazing! The staff is quick to help and clear up any problems. Leaky faucet? No worries! Problem with a light switch? Taken care of the next day. Tj is especially helpful. He made the move in so smooth and easy. Be prepared for an old building and everything that comes with it, like archways, an old phone hook, and changing rooms. Can’t wait to meet you, neighbor!

I’ve only lived here for a couple months so far, but I’m already so happy with my decision to move here! The building and apartments are so cute and charming, even though it has an old feel (which I love) it looks so new and well taken care of. This building is a great place to live. I’m in one of the studios, and the apartment itself is pretty spacious for a studio. I’ve lived all over downtown multiple times and this is by far the happiest I’ve been with location and the management. The building is clean and beautiful, the maintenance people have been great with the things I’ve needed help with. I would definitely recommend this place! I love living here!

So far so good! Such an incredible building and location. I have only been moved in for a few weeks but I am loving it. TJ was an excellent help and worked with me over the course of a few months to help find the perfect apartment for me! Property management staff has been super great and always ready to help!

I'm leaving this review here, because it's really a review of whoever owns both properties. ** I'm redoing my entire review because the management team over at the Lotus has really changed things around. We had a lot of issues with our apartment when we first moved in. They've really taken care of us and helped us through almost all of our issues. If you're looking for a cheaper apartment in a great location, this one might be for you. The Barbara Worth complex is old, crusty and in need of revitalization. But when something breaks (and believe me it will), the maintenance crew responds quickly and will do the best they can. A couple of things to make sure you're okay with before you move in: The walls are lathe and plaster. Of all the units we've seen, the plaster is cracking. This building is old, so there is asbestos to worry about! The floors are hardwood, but some of the previous tenants didn't care for them. Be cautious of splinters. For heating, this complex only has radiators. Some of the units have adjusting knobs, others don't. Depending on where your unit is, you might be boiling in the winter. This complex is located in the middle of downtown, there are homeless shelters and halfway houses closeby. The front door to the building has been broken into multiple times and our clothes have been stolen from the laundry facility. Some of the units have comically small bathrooms. One of them has the toilet almost directly under the sink! And almost all of the kitchens are tiny. All-in-all, this complex isn't the worst place to live. At least, with the current team of people that are taking care of the property.

They are older apartments but Lotus keeps the building very clean and it is very quiet. Each time I have gone to the leasing company with maintenance requests, they have been very helpful and punctual. Definitely enjoying living here so far!

I love the Barbara Worth apartments. I have lived there for just under a year and the building is beautiful. Original wood floors, gorgeous archways, lots of character. The management, leasing and maintenance staff are all so friendly, kind and easy to work with. I highly recommend living here.

I toured these apartments while looking for a place downtown. The staff was quick to respond and very helpful in helping me figure out which of their properties would be the best fit. The awesome location and ivy covered walls are the definite highlights.

I LOVE Barbara Worth Apartments! The building alone is rustic and vintage and just screams class! The location is to kill for and the price for that location is literally to kill for! Not only that, but the management team is the steal here. All to often apartment staffs are rude, and impatient, and unwilling to work with us tenants. But at Barbara Worth they have a different approach! They are sincere and understanding and so willing to work with the people who live here. I bleed Barbara Worth Apartments!

Overall a great bldg at a great price. Me and my partner enjoyed living here one TERM. The church bells go off every 15 mins all day. The side door enterance used to slam shut. Lots of cracked glass paynes and rusty fire escapes when we were there. Bums in the mornings were loud at times. We had a neighbor that disturbed us at night mostly and early am hrs with a black Shepard that growled often. I'll never forget his Donna Summer someone left the cake out in the rain 4am in the morning or the constant hammering till midnight. Brain Wrigley the owner was cool most of the time. But he forgot he worked for us not the other way around. And chain of command is for employees and the buck stops at him. Overall I highly recommend the two bedrooms and upstairs units.
